Dr. Johannes Schmidt (born in 1961) has been a member of INDUS Holding AG's Board of Management since 2005. After graduating with a degree in applied mathematics and gaining his doctorate in the field of mechanical science, he first assumed development tasks at Richard Bergner GmbH, a manufacturer of electrical instruments from Schwabach, before rising to become managing director during the course of his twelve years at the company. In 2000, he switched to Landshut-based ebm-papst GmbH, a manufacturer of blower motors and fans, as sole managing director. During his time there, he advanced the development of new product platforms and the internationalization of the production sites, among other things.
