Ad-Hoc Announcement pursuant to Section 15 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG): INDUS upgrades its projections for 2010 significantly
- Sales expectations EUR 900 million
- EBIT target raised to EUR 75 to 80 million
Bergisch Gladbach, August 16, 2010 - INDUS Holding AG has upgraded its consolidated sales and earnings projections for 2010 for the second time this year.
According to preliminary figures, first-half sales amounted to approx. EUR 450 million (previous year: EUR 361.7 million), representing around 25 percent sales growth, while EBIT for the first six months exceeded EUR 46 million (previous year: EUR 22.1 million). This represents an increase by around 110 percent.
In view of the positive business trend in the first half-year, continued high demand from the construction and medical engineering sectors and the increase in demand in the automotive and mechanical engineering industries, INDUS now expects to generate a significantly higher consolidated EBIT of EUR 75 to 80 million in the fiscal year 2010 (formerly EUR 70 million). Group sales are projected to rise to approx. EUR 900 million in 2010 (formerly EUR 850 million). The improvement in EBIT will be in accordance with positive net income.
INDUS had upgraded its start-of-year projections (EUR 800 million in sales, EUR 60 to 70 million in EBIT) already on July 1, 2010.
The interim report on the first half will be published in August 26, 2010.
